Family Session Details

What kind of family photographer are you?  My style encompasses a classic portraiture style, emphasizing on capturing emotion between people. I enjoy fun, relaxed and candid sessions.

Where will my session be held?  Most of my clients live within the greater Toronto area. We will find an outdoor location that generally incorporates lots of nature - forests, water, fields, flowers, you name it. I've a huge lover of the outdoors.

How long will my session be?  My standard sessions are 30 minutes. This is perfect for families of 6 or less. I love booking larger families as well, and those sessions typically last 60 minutes.

What will my session be like? Fun, I hope! I absolutely love hearing all about you and your family. While chatting, I will direct you into various poses that create beautiful images. Some of the poses may seem funny, but being relaxed and having fun produce the best images!

What should I wear?  This is topic where my general answer is always "whatever you're comfortable in". Some families come in matching colour palettes, some don't. It really doesn't matter to me so long as you are comfortable, can sit on the ground (I usually bring a blanket), and be relaxed.

How far out are you booked?  My calendar typically fills up 3 months in advance. However, if you are looking for something more immediate, do not hesitate to contact me as I always do my best to accommodate requests.

Will I get digital photos from my session?  Yes! You will never be asked to pick between images and to select only your favourites. My goal and job is to create a cohesive gallery from our time spent together, one that accurately documents the session that took place. Therefore, all of my sessions include an online, password protected gallery where you can download the images from your session. Each session will include a copy of black and white, and colour images.

I value and understand the importance of having family photos you can cherish for a lifetime. Moments are fleeting and deserve to be documented forever.
