You may or may not have heard of the "Magic Hour" or "Golden Hour" that many photographers refer to when discussing your photo session.
So what exactly is this? Wikipedia defines it as: "In photography, the golden hour (sometimes known as magic hour, especially in cinematography) is a period shortly after sunrise or before sunset during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky."
Why do photographers love this time of day so much?
Without boring you with all the details of how photography is really the science of manipulating light in the most flattering way to your eye, let's just say that this soft, glow-y light softens the feel of your photos and can provide the perfect time to catch lovely lens flares and magical rim lighting, equaling a dreaming, ethereral effect.
With the spring weather upon us, I am enthusiastic to get back outside photographing during this magical time of day!
Between May 1st and June 28th, 2017, I will be booking these one hour sessions at 6:30pm in the New Tecumseth area.
These sessions include: an online, password protected gallery of your high resolution, fully edited images, available to download immediately upon receipt.
